A person visited a fruit-seller often to buy oranges.
After the fruits are weighed, he would pick one out, taste a slice, complain that it is sour, and leave it there.
Before the old lady could replace it, he would leave. She smiled every time he did that.
Another shopkeeper nearby who witnessed this asked her, “Why does he do this every time and still come to buy fruits from you?”
The old lady replied, “He buys one orange for me from me. That is what makes me smile, and I always give him a little extra.”
